Istanbul Nights — Evening Bosphorus Tour

About this option

“Istanbul Nights” is an unhurried, comfortable evening programme through the city’s best waterfronts. Instead of the midday crowds and heat, you see Istanbul once the lights are on and the cool Bosphorus breeze comes off the water. The night begins at Galataport, the redeveloped Karaköy waterfront, with a long promenade along the sea, flagship stores, open-air cafés and beautifully lit quays. The second stop is Ortaköy, the liveliest point of the route: the famous mosque standing right beside the bridge, hot kumpir (Turkish stuffed baked potato) and the best night-time photo frame in the city, with the Bosphorus Bridge behind you. From there we climb to Duatepe, a quiet elevated viewpoint with a 360-degree panorama of the strait — the right place for a glass of tea, the cool of the evening, and photographs you simply cannot take during the day. The night ends on foot in Bebek, one of Istanbul’s most elegant seaside neighbourhoods, among moored boats and waterside cafés. Return transfers and a Persian-speaking guide accompany you throughout, and the stops are chosen so that you have time to pause and take pictures. This is not a packed itinerary — it is one good night.
